Women's effort in the war
Since most of the men during this time was helping out in the war due to the Conscription act that required men from the ages of eighteen to forty five to join the army, women took on the men's jobs. During this time, people had the idea that women aren't equal towards men because they can't do a men's job. That's what they thought at first, but it all changed during this time frame. The women were actual able to do the men's job just as or even better than they could ever have. They have made mass productions of weapons for the war and help support in the home front. These things helped women gain the 19th amendment that allowed them to vote.
