14 Points
The 14 Points was created by Woodrow Wilson and the purpose of it was the end all wars by promoting peace. Some points were the freedom of the seas, no secret treaties between countries, reduction of armants, changes in colonial claims, and no economic boundaries. Although the idea was wonderful, the American people did not like it especially the 14th point which created the League of Nations. Because of that group, the U.S. would have to be involved in foreign affairs when they actually wanted to stay in perfect isolation as they had for many years. In the end, the U.S. didn't ratify the treaty signed to end World War I and led the League of Nations to its demise.
